Can’t I just potty in private……

Moms, you all know what I am talking about. You have just sat down to go to the bathroom and you hear “mom” and then the door swings open. Seriously can I just go to the bathroom in private? I think this happens to all of us. And THIS is my biggest pet peeve about being a parent.

I love my kids and they are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I would not change much about being a parent except going to the bathroom in private; I know lock the door… But this does not stop the pounding on the door and seriously how do you poop with all the pounding?

Just this morning I got an email from the boss that made me feel so much better about pooping in private….

“Well, up to this moment, Finley (19 months) has eaten about 3 crayons, ruined my chapstick, and sat on the printer. Can’t a mom go poop without all hell breaking loose? Nope, not in this house!!”
